As a customer you can choose from the extensive selection of designs we have created in the past or you can commission us to create a totally unique piece for your fireplace.
In January 2022 new emissions regulations which cover solid fuel appliances came into force in the UK. As a result, we will cease manufacturing Thermovent open fires once we have exhausted our limited stock of the main fire that forms the heart of every Thermovent. Until then these unique open fires will continue to be available to purchase. Any Thermovent already installed, or purchased from this existing stock can continue to be used and is not affected by these new regulations.
Knowledge of the new regulations drove the development of our unique Twin Skin canopy over the last few years. This design allows our customers to continue to re-create beautiful and traditional open fires in their homes because canopies and hand-made fire grates are not subject to the new regulations. This means we can continue to offer handmade open fire solutions that not only look amazing but work as an open fire should.

Handmade Canopies or hoods.
We will create your canopy by hand using a range of materials, finishes and styles. Other than our craftsmanship our real advantage is we know how to design them so they work.
Thermovent high performance open fires.
Your Thermovent open fire will give you the traditional looking centre piece your room deserves but also an incredibly effective and efficient woodburing room heater. Less wood more heat.
Fire basket or fire grates
Our craftspeople will make your hand forged fire baskets and fire grates to your design. It will also be matched to the fireplace its positioned in and the main fuel type you are using. From the smallest to the biggest each is unique.
Dog irons
Your decision to include dog irons in your heritage fireplace design may be inspired by what you have seen or to achieve a wider design aesthetic for the fireplace or the room. Whichever they will have been made to order just for you and look amazing.
Accessories
If you like what our designers and craftspeople can do we’re always willing to look at broader projects though our focus is typically around the open fireplace.
